Design has been my passion since childhood and my dream come true to not only to study design but to then have a career in design.
After achieving a Honours Degree in Interior Design and a Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Management I began my ‘apprenticeship’ with a small design practice in Edinburgh. I was so fortunate to have a fantastic teacher and mentor at such a young age, guiding me and training me in all forms of interior design and decoration, from traditional country house decoration and contemporary interior design to more commercial projects including restaurants and offices.
After 8 years in Edinburgh with a small break to work in Syndey for 6 months, I commenced the next phase of my work in Glasgow where I worked for 15 years at a well established interior design and architecture practice. My time there, allowed me to grow and develop as a designer, delivering projects at the highest level and working an array of gifted and talented people all of whom I have learned from.
